Nepal
Nepal is not just about Everest. It is especially about people, about the diversity of cultures and religions, about the dizzying mixture of colors, flavors and melodic lines. Nepal is first and foremost about everyone's journey to the divine within.
Nepal
Nepal is our home away from home. The fact that we have lived in the country at the foot of the Himalayas for more than a year gives us the advantage of knowing this destination as our own pockets.
Nepal is the country where Mandala Journeys came into being in our minds and souls long before it became a lifestyle and dream of a travel agency. That is why, when we talk about Nepal, we cannot but be subjective.
If you ask us what this country is about, we will tell you that it is first and foremost about wonderful people, gentle as children. It’s about their resilience and impressive ability to be happy beyond all the hardships of life and the unfriendly natural environment. While many of them struggle with poverty, they try at the same time with their whole being to keep alive the values and way of life of their ancestors. Nepal is also the country where the traditional Tibetan Buddhism of the high mountains meets and intertwines harmoniously with the millions of gods of Hinduism in a common consciousness of the same divine heritage.
On the high paths of the Himalayas, you see Sherpa Buddhists communicating harmoniously with Hindu porters or Christian and Muslim tourists, in a deep understanding of the truth that divinity has no name, race, or doctrine.
